TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Reservations
You may make reservations up to
one year in advance. To secure a booking a non-returnable deposit is payable. We
will inform you of the amount at the time of booking. Deposits can be paid by
credit or debit card. Payments at the Hotel are by card or cash only. The person
making the booking is responsible for all costs involved in the reservation even
if this person is not the guest registering at the Hotel. If the deposit has
been made using a credit or debit card authorised account number, then any
payment due, owing to cancellation or damage will also be made on the same
account by the proprietor unless alternative card details are supplied by the
guest registering with the Hotel upon arrival.
To avoid the Hotel paying two sets of Bank charges, no additional charge will be made when paying deposits by Credit or Debit card, but, an additional charge of £1.50 may be made if you choose to pay the due balance by card on arrival.
Cancellation
If you cancel a booking or part of a booking up to forty eight hours prior to arrival you will lose your deposit. For cancellations after this time, we reserve the right to claim payment of the full amount (less a sum for service) of the original booking.
Guests leaving earlier than stated in their original booking will have to pay the full amount (less a sum for service) of the original booking unless otherwise agreed with us.
Non-Arrival of Guests
Should you have booked a room(s) and paid a deposit, and fail to arrive at the hotel, we reserve the right to charge to your Credit/Debit Card the remainder of the full amount that would have become due should you have arrived and fulfilled your booking.
Arrival & Departure
Rooms are available from 2.00pm although earlier arrival may be possible with our agreement. You are asked to inform the Hotel of your arrival time if possible.
Check out on day of departure is at 11.00am Rooms still occupied after 11.00am will incur a further nights charge. Luggage may be left in the Hotel if you are staying in Blackpool for the day if agreed in advance. The Hotel is a public area and we cannot be held responsible for any loss of or damage to your luggage.
Hotel Property
We will charge you the full cost of replacing or repairing any Hotel property you lose or damage however the damage is caused. If you notice any damage or missing items in your room you must inform us immediately.
Food and Alcoholic Drinks
Food and alcoholic drinks may not be brought on to and consumed on the
premises. Any evidence that this has happened may incur a charge.
Visitors
Guests visitors are welcome to use the Lounge and Bar area. Visitors are not
allowed to in guests bedrooms. Any evidence that this has happened may incur a
charge.
Guests Property
We cannot accept responsibility for loss of guests' property unless handed in for safe keeping.
PLEASE NOTE: In the unfortunate event that you soil the bed a charge of £50.00 will be automatically debited to your credit/debit card to cover the cost of replacement pillows, quilt and the separate washing of the bedding. Soiling any other part of your room or the Hotel in general will incur a £50.00 (minimum) charge for cleaning.
Payment
Any balance due on the reservation must be paid on arrival unless otherwise agreed with us. You must pay any other money owing before departure. If you fail to do so, we will take any action necessary to recover money due including any legal costs. We reserve the right to use your credit or debit card without further request if necessary.
No Smoking Policy
The Brene Hotel is a no smoking premises. Anyone found to be or have been smoking anywhere in the hotel will be asked to leave without any refund. Once you have completed your stay with us and whilst cleaning the room if evidence of smoking is detected the management reserves the right to charge appropriately for excess cleaning/airing of the room and for any damage caused as per the clause Hotel Property above.
